Diane Anderson’s background includes being a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. Diane’s bachelor’s degree is from UW Madison in Business Administration and her master’s degree is from Edgewood College. She has worked at the county level and for private mental health/AODA agencies for 20+ years. Her clients are children, teens, couples and families. Diane has an eclectic approach and works to meet the person or persons where they are rather than where she thinks they should be. She believes the clients have the answers in them and they are the experts of themselves and their families. Diane feels her job is to help them with their struggles/decision making or change they feel is necessary wherever they are in their lives at the time she works with them. She feels it is a privilege to work with clients in-home and in outpatient settings, as well as doing intensive outpatient therapy. Diane also has worked on teams that are informal and formal such as CST and CCS and at times being a facilitator.

Diane’s personal life includes two adult children, one with ADHD who has become a successful man. She feels this life experience has helped her understand the struggles and issues her clients deal with.
