• 0.01 μm UF + Premium Media: Uses a 0.01 micron ultrafiltration membrane plus an activated carbon block and other filter media to help reduce chlorine, taste & odor, and certain heavy metals for improved taste. Materials are BPA-free and lead-free. The activated carbon is made from coconut shells—please confirm any coconut-related sensitivities before use.
• Tested Multi-Stage Filtration & Anti-Clog Design: Third-party testing to NSF/ANSI 42 indicates reduction of chlorine, taste, and odor, and third-party testing to NSF/ANSI 53 indicates lead reduction. The upgraded filtration area is described as providing about 20× more dirt-adhesion area to help reduce clogging.
• Cold-Water Installation & Service Life: Designed for cold water only with push-to-connect fittings for installation in about 3 minutes and twist-and-lock filter changes in about 3 seconds. When used with municipal water, each filter is rated for up to 24 months or 19,000 gallons (actual lifespan varies by water conditions and usage); replacing around 24 months is recommended for best performance.
