Niki Atkinson completed her master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Kentucky and became a licensed clinical social work in 2021. Niki’s areas of interest are providing therapy to children ages 5-11, and also has experience working with children, adolescents and adults of all ages. She utilizes trauma-informed, person-centered and humanistic techniques.
Niki has training in Play Therapy, Love and Logic, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Gentle Parenting Techniques, Motivational Interviewing and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
In her spare time, Niki enjoys going on hikes, cuddling with her cats, reading, baking/cooking and going to musicals.
