Psychosocial Rehabilitation Worker, Service Facilitator

Rob Blankinship is a service facilitator and psychosocial worker with Therapy Without Walls and has worked in mental health treatment programming since 2018. He graduated from UW Madison and is in his third and final year of graduate school at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, enrolled in the clinical Master’s of Social Work (MSW) program.

Rob has experience in county crisis work, training in crisis debriefing, as well as experience in supporting veterans and their families with their presenting needs. Rob also created and ran an art-based psychoeducation creative coping group in Adams County. As part of his professional practice, Rob uses a person-centered, strengths and successes-based approach as well as motivational interviewing when supporting individuals and families. 

When Rob is not working he enjoys spending time with family and friends, walks in nature with his yellow Lab, traveling, reading, carpentry projects, playing saxophone and board games. Rob was born in Long Island, raised in New England and Arizona and is a proud Marine veteran.
