Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC

Jennifer Correia is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Lakeland University, earned in 2011. She specializes in helping individuals navigate a wide range of challenges, including grief, psychosis, depression, anxiety, substance use, life transitions, and trauma.

Jen adopts an integrative approach to therapy, utilizing evidence-based methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), strength-based therapy, solution-focused therapy, art therapy, person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness practices. She also incorporates Brainspotting as a specialized tool for addressing trauma, anxiety, and addiction. In addition to her individual therapy work, Jen facilitates Creative Coping, an art-based therapy group designed to help clients manage stress, enhance emotional well-being, and build effective coping skills.

Her approach is centered on empowering clients to connect with their strengths, build self-efficacy, and develop the tools needed to overcome life’s challenges.
