Samantha Richards grew up in a small town outside of Chicago. Smantha received her master’s degree in Social Work from Governors State University. In 2017, Samantha moved to Wisconsin and has been working for the Sauk Co CCS Program since her transition.

Samantha has experience working in adolescent residential homes and in-patient psychiatric hospitals for adolescents. She enjoys working with youth and their families to create healthy, safe relationships to achieve their goals. She utilities a strengths-based, solution-focused approach in her work and appreciates the wrap-around model through a trauma-informed lens.

When Samantha is not working, she is raising her two children on their hobby farm complete with dogs, cats, horses and goats.
