Becky Willard has been with Therapy Without Walls since 2017. She earned both her BSW and MSW Degree from the University of Illinois-Chicago from the Jane Addams College of Social Work. This year, Becky celebrated 30 years providing psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, families, couples and adults in variety of settings. Becky loves developing therapeutic relationships with clients/consumers and working towards long-term, identified therapeutic goals while also trying to navigate the challenges/stressors of daily life.
In the fall of 2017, Becky obtained training in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) which focuses on the treatment of trauma in children and has been advocating for trauma to be identified and addressed earlier in treatment ever since. Becky also has had training in the DBT-Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing along with training in the wrap-around-service model and parenting with Love & Logic.
In the fall of 2018, Becky and her family relocated to Wausau, where she grew up and is now providing services to those in Wood and Marathon Counties.
