Psychotherapist, Service Facilitator

Niki earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky in 2018. She is passionate about working with children ages 5-11 and enjoys supporting individuals across the lifespan, including those in the LGBTQIA+ community.  Niki creates a nurturing therapeutic environment characterized by unconditional positive regard. She approaches each interaction with curiosity, utilizing playfulness and connection to establish a therapeutic relationship grounded in safety, trust, and enhanced self-worth.

Niki has training in multiple therapeutic modalities, including both directive and non-directive Play Therapy techniques, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and connection-based parenting techniques. She is deeply interested in the connection between physical wellbeing and mental health, particularly the roles of nutrition, nature, and lifestyle changes.

Niki is passionate about facilitating therapy groups, recognizing the profound impact of community, acceptance, and communication on overall wellbeing.

Outside of work, Niki enjoys hiking, spending time with animals, cooking, and attending musicals.
