Emily Stieve completed her Master of Social Work at UW-Milwaukee and become a Advanced Practice Social Worker in 2023. While working on her degree, Emily took part in a Youth-Oriented Substance Abuse and Trauma counseling training program that equipped her with knowledge and tools beneficial in working with those who have trauma history or a desire to achieve change in substance use-related behaviors. Emily is certified in providing Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
Throughout her education and career, Eimly shas had the opportunity to work in both individual and group settings with children and adolescents of all ages from rural to urban environments. She values providing a voice to those she works with, building on their strengths and empowering them in their growth process.
Emily personally enjoys staying active, quality time with family and friends and finding a new book to read or receipt to try out. It’s guaranteed that she will always find a way to enjoy the ever-changing Wisconsin weather.
